Literacy Practice with Stickers

This is a very simple activity to reinforce letter recognition and matching skills. Simply write out the letters, two of each letter, on the stickers. Place one set on the paper, and give the other set to the child. Have the child say the letter name and then find the match. He or she can place the matching sticker on top of the other or right next to it. My daughter preferred to place the sticker right next to it. She is older, so I did the same activity with her, but instead of letters, I did her sight words. This can be changed to work on number recognition, or if the child is older, you can write the sum or product on one sticker, and then the equation on another.
