This is a very simple activity you can do with children just learning their alphabet. You need black paper, matchbox cars and masking tape. Write one letter on each car and then write that letter on the paper. When I did this with my daughter, I made a road to the parking lot out of masking tape. She loved driving the car to the lot and matching the car to the proper parking space. She is in kindergarten, so instead of letters, I used sight words. If you child is older, you can do the same activity with spelling words, or multiplication facts (have the math equation written out on the car, and the sum or product on the parking lot).
